Your first video, start to finish
Your first video is free to make — up to 60 minutes. The transcription costs you no credits at all, and the 45 credits you get at sign-up cover building the highlight. No credit card. Exports on the Free plan carry a small watermark; Creator removes it.

Install
Download the app, drag it to Applications, and open it.

Import your video
Drag the file onto the window, or use Import. Nothing is uploaded yet.

Choose what you want out of it
Highlight: one condensed 16:9 version of the whole conversation — start here. Short: a single moment, vertical or square, with the crop following whoever is speaking. Topic clips: one clip per topic, exported separately.

Pick an angle
NexClip proposes a few angles — different ways to tell the same conversation, each showing what it found and roughly how long it would run. Pick one, or describe your own. This is the part that decides the result: the angle is the story, and everything after it is assembly.

Let it build
Transcription, topic detection, cuts, subtitles, chapter headings and speaker names all happen here. A 30-minute video takes a few minutes.

Review
The timeline is already assembled. Want a different shape? Go back and pick another angle rather than editing clip by clip. Open Reframe for a vertical or square version.

Choose a destination and export. Subtitles, chapter headings and speaker names are already burned in.

About your video
Your video stays on your Mac. Only the audio is sent, for transcription, and we delete it from our servers as soon as transcription finishes. Your transcript is not stored on our servers either.
If something goes wrong
- The file is longer than 60 minutes — it still works, and is charged at 1 credit per minute.
- The app will not open — it requires macOS 26 or later on Apple Silicon.
- Exporting is slow — export runs on your Mac, so it depends on your machine.
- The language is wrong — set it in Preferences; it applies after a restart.
